Which of these two photos do you think I should keep? I like them both for different reasons, and clearly only want one in my portfolio.

Keep the first one.  More casual pose, nicer expression on the model's face.

Number two looks like your being sodomized against your will. Keep #1. #2 doesnt like a pose a person would do on their own.

ha ha okay.  anyway I wouldn't keep either still.  I'm not really sure what you're doing with your hands in the first one and I don't like your pose in the second one.  both have an odd sense of a porn video about to be made, which unless that was the point leaves bot lacking the artistic quality that the rest of your portfolio possesses.

I really like the second better.  Something about your eyes in the first that don't make it for me.  But, I'll see you some time this year.

they are both good shot but not the usual standards of your port - your smile is off and the lighting is a little to intense

She looks like she could be touching herself in the first one too.  Just not as... avidly. smile

To answer the OP's question, keep the first shot.  It's just better.

The first one........the look in your eyes--the tales they could tell!  Incomparable!

Take the first.

And when we shoot, we'll do it a little differently.

Until then, Take care and God bless...

#1.

The second one looks like someone is extracting something uncomfortable from something unmentionable.

I think the first one, you're looking at the camera in a way that could be you're watching TV and your idiot boyfriend won't stop taking annoying pictures, and you're looking like "will you stop??"

The second one, the blurred leg in the corner distracts me and makes the composition seem weird to me, but it looks more convincing than the first.
