Um... that would be "Pappy" Boyington's Black Sheep Squadron, not the Flying Tigers.

Pappy may or may not have been in the AVG. We have only his word for it and he has long since passed.

I stand corrected. Apparently Boyington was in the AVG. Here he is pictured with some of his fellow Tigers. Boyington is holding the revolver.

After PMing a model indicating an interest in shooting with her, how long should I wait for a response? So far it's less than 24 hours.

I haven't set a date because I don't know her availability yet. I explained that I want to interview her, compare ideas, etc., then set a date to shoot.

I would set a date and let her know that you are expecting to shoot someone that day.  Set the date as well for meeting.  If she can't make it - then change if it’s feasible.  I hate leaving tings open-ended!

Nothing like having the cops pay you a visit and question you in your home. Apparently there have been a lot of cars broken into in my neighborhood lately. My neighbor was hit last night. Their advice to me? Buy a gun. Oh yeah, I feel safe now.

You mean the stinky fur ball that's currently hiding from the storm? Yeah, that makes me feel better.

The first time my car was stolen in St Pete, the cop told us that shooting a car thief in the back while fleeing was considered legal protection of life and property.

This is not intended as legal advice, just a quote from a cop in a parking lot...

Not to worry, I've got the crying part down while saying over and over again "but officer, I feared for my life!"

Never mind that I tracked the fucker through the orange grove and dragged his battered corpse back to my house so they would find his body on my property. wink

My grandfather was a mechanic for those planes. he lost his hearing due to starting those engines all the time without proper ear coverings. lives in frostproof now, has nothing good to say about veterans hospitals or care either.
