hey all.. raw files for retouching practise. i had trouble retouching parts of the skin on these. but im not a pro like some of you all.. have fun and feel free to use them as you wish.. leon dee

I LOVE your choice of tones! delightful!

And even tho the skin is not done right...it works!

I still wonder how it would look with perfect skin tho but I can't take my eyes off your version.

Yeah, I was having serious issues with the skin on this one. At 100% there is loads of texture, but viewed smaller everything looks washed out and blurred. I had different layers for sharpening and things which I made the mistake of merging together before doing work on the colours and didn't realise until I was done that it looked off compared to the original. Ah well. I guess that's what practice is for! smile

I wasn't just referring to skin texture. There's bumps everywhere.

i agree i think the eyes are a bit to much but i do like the finished image.. feel free to use it in you port..nice work

i also had issues with the skin while tryin to edit it.. its more awkward than anything,coz the skin is sharp at 100%.. its just the texture.. all fun i guess. you do great work tho.. smile

Well, since this thread was posted 3 years ago, rules changed, you can no longer give critique in this forum. There are 2 sub forums posted at the top of this one that lead to DAR Critiques and Challenges, Contests and Samples
