ElanaVital wrote: I'd like a critique, please. I think I need to freshen up my portfolio. You have an interesting and versatile look. But photos are failing you. I browsed your port and must say I am not much fond of these https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/17082084 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/12545727 Your port gives the "amateur model " impression with photos full of awkward poses, looks, and some like those are very tacky( red colored gels should be omitted) looks in glamor pics leave to be desired expressions are a bit meh too. I suggest to work with more advanced photographers.

second best
framing needs work, as you crop in awkward areas. composition needs a lot of work nothing to list at this time

Andie08 wrote: I'm interested! As a beginner model, your port has quite variety. I don't see anything in your port to put you in front of the line though. You are naturally beautiful and unique in look however most commercial fashion applications will probably discount that because they will select more synthetic beautified and processed looks. Nothing to list at the moment. Your posing is mostly nice smiling girl next door style you should take some acting lesson and also vary your expressions and specialize in some market provided that you have a good understanding of your limitations, a will to overcome and pounds of perseverance.

Colorado Figures wrote: I would appreciate you opinion on which, if any, of my photos have merit. Thank you! First impressions: You have too many images that really don't add or diminishes overall value of your port Your Skill level: amateur at heart prosumer Your creativity: inconsistent artistic vision, but I like some of your compositions. Specific style: amateur figure art, Your Work focus: mostly nudes Your challenges: don't reflect GWC image Your MM Profile usefulness: long to read but useful Paid assignments: will eventually happen What I like: http://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/38638415 +18 What to delete: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/36802669 all+18 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/38613264 I didn't have the patience to add more to this list. Suggestions: Improve the sitting and posing when you shoot amateur models
don't shoot from above that makes look models even shorter then they are. Watch the ribs sticking out on skinny models, they look pretty ugly. You should leave retouching to pros. Nothing to list.
