A couple of B-17s are supposed to be there for the show. The Air force Thunderbirds are also performing at the air show. After this air show sequestration grounds the demonstration team. All in all, I expect the air show to be its usual great experience. I've been going to this air show since 1975. I'm driving up to Chicago tomorrow evening, I plan on getting on the road around 6pm. I'll be driving through Atlanta, Chattanooga, Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis and finally Chicago. I'm renting a Dodge Grand Caravan so there will be room and I rented it for 4 days so theres no huge rush getting to Chicago. I can meet in downtown Orlando so I can jump on the turnpike north. If you know anyone who is looking to head that way, just split the gas and driving. The gas split would be $100 if they go all the way to Chicago. This is a one way drive for me, I'm flying back so whoever would need to make return arrangements. Send a message if you know anyone. Got to get the word out... my daughter is getting married in Orlando at Cypress Groves... May 10 Saturday 2014 yes far away.. but we are trying to find and secure a photographer so we have one less thing to do... My daughter is in charge... but I am the purse strings... will be about 100 people and start i believe at 5 pm ... Been in touch with a few people already ...however SHE is the one who will decide who she wants to go with... right now she is in town with me in St Pete.. so we will be looking at possibilities here... BUT if we are not going to have someone I personally know do the wedding, then she will probably get someone there in your neck of the woods... so PM me if you personally are interested or know of someone... i will pass it onto my daughter.... Tx so much.. let the $$ start flying out the door .... now..lol.. (we are shopping this weekend for dresses etc... dont expect to get one but will be pricing them ..)
