she is amazing. It is also amazing to see how she has transformed since she had her child. Still amazing but a different performer. Pours her heart and soul into her performances. So much talent that woman has.

Sometimes she is.  Sometimes she's numbingly mannered and contrived.

Hearing her new stuff makes me want to punch a baby. That's sort of what happens when you get married, have a baby, and are all happy and shit. mad

I had written something hours ago in response and it got deleted. Very sad. More or less, I have seen her in various stages, less the last few years. I have only seen her like 7 or so times. But, solo and with her band. She is an experience to witness. Especially if her music is something that called to you at a time in your life.

Her voice is something that can enchant a room and that woman has got something inside of her that when it wants to be said or come out, it certainly does, and people listen. Her voice can range from delicate to downright dirty and powerful and I love her for it.

I miss her sexier dances back in the day at the piano when she used to just let it all go. She still can be seen letting loose a bit and giving in but as she has aged she has reigned it in a bit. She is still an amazing performer that puts on a full show, gives her all, and I would recommend. That woman is amazing.

She has tons of amazing covers. I am sure you own the album of hers that is all male artist covers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzD-h_9T41Q is on there. Losing my Religion is great, it's a classic of hers. I love when she does Somewhere Over the Rainbow! I could list so many covers to listen to. We could be here all day. This thread has inspired me.
