I absolutely feel good about my ranking.  Those above me are some truly talented shooters.

We can't have that. Please let me know at what point you would feel bad about your ranking and I will put you there.

Well you are a stunning model yourself and if I was forced to choose to shoot just one of the people you mentioned I would pick you. Hence why you are above them.

Well, I'm really flattered...

Many thanks Cynthia, I value a lot your opinion.

If I must... I think that John is excellent at what he does, but the three below him, including myself have a lot more to show than art nudes.  But it's your list.  Your opinion.  I won't argue the order.

Arguing is fine. When you are comparing different genres here it does make it difficult.  Being versatile is a plus but doesn't necessarily override someone who is excellent at one genre. You probably agree as I see for instance you are not saying Keeling should be lowered because he is not as versatile as some. (at least in his port)

What we present here and what we're capable of and display elsewhere could be very different things.  I, for example, might be the best skydiving infant photographer on the planet.  But you'd never know because I don't show those types of images here.

True, but all I can rank is what is shown here.

Probably going to be crushed by the sheer weight of talent that's already in that column.

If anyone wants to ask why I put them where feel free to ask.

This is not a complaint, I generally agree that most above me are as good or better than I think I am.  And many definitely show more versatility and/or quality in their work.

But I am curious to see what you think would move me up the list?

I'm also curious why David Kirk is now listed above me when he was below me yesterday.  Again - no argument from me - I've known his work for a while so I was surprised by the previous order.  Did you just realize the error of your ways or was money exchanged? smile

I'm a bit wowed by my placement.

It's true the profile I offered up is all art nude. I choose to not mix genres in presentation of work. I have 2 other profiles addressing other genres. They might not place so well. If I get brave I'll add them for consideration.

As mentioned on the post these rankings are not final. I will eventually go through them with a "is the bottom one better then the one right above it" and move it up and down. I doubt their will be to many changes but I am sure their will be some. David was an early one:)

As for what I would like to see you improve is the same thing I want to change with my work. Our work is boring. I mean really boring.  So is Tenroc's above you. The models are just there. We are basically all doing the same thing. What I think is missing is movement. Look at Ric's work or LMG who just entered this thread https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/1938743/viewall
granted both there post work is better but what really seperates them from us is the illusion of movement. It isn't so boring because of it.

So yeah have more movement. I am still working on it so I can't tell you how:(

I have no idea where to put you. You have some boring beginner looking stuff. You have a fair bit of real nice creative stuff but your PP sucks.

I will have to think about it. Anyone want to give me suggestions on this feel free to pm me.

I wish I could come up with a good butthurt whine, but I'm happy to be in the middle of the pack. Especially when I look at the work the rest of the pack is doing. Thanks.

No disagreement from me.  I have much to learn and only want to get better.  I am constantly studying, watching tutorials and experimenting.  I appreciate you taking the time to consider what to do with me.
