Is there a more convenient way to save files in a specific folder when using photoshop ?

I work on my images from photoshoots and normally open up 5 or so at a time

I make a new folder and save my files in that folder but when I save each I have to find the folder all over again..

Is there a way to set up photoshop to open and save images automatically in a specific folder?

I do this all the time . . . . make an action on the first one that you save to a particular folder and then use that action for all the rest of the images that should go there.

when you click on "save as" in Photoshop there is a little toggle to the left that lets you select the destination, click on that and at the bottom of the drop down menu there is a set of folders called "Recent Places", save 1 file there and Photoshop remembers the location so you can always get back to that location.
