Yes I am giving one of my favorite lenses to the charity I help but not taking any type of write off for myself. Therefore, if you owe any taxes coming up, this is like getting something for free, half off, etc.. depending on your situation. You will of course get a letter from the foundation I help, it is a 501(c)3 charity, and you can use it for this year. The foundation is great too, we help throw birthday parties for sick kids and also have an annual Christmas party coming up in San Diego.

Anyway in terms of the lens it is the older model 28-80 2.8-4.0 L and in great condition. I have had this lens for over 10 years now and you can easily see how good it shoots because a lot of my work is with this lens. Not as good as the 24-70 2.8 obviously, that is a beast, but still a great L series lens that can be your main or backup for about 1/3 of the cost.

I was going to ask $500 but I figured since I am not getting the 10%+ fees from EBay, I will ask for $475 and can't go lower. I sell a decent amount on EBay for the foundation and myself, my feedback is 253 transactions, over 80% sales, and 100% positive feedback! I don't screw people over so you can trust me that this is a solid lens. Glass is clean and some minor wear on outside of lens. There isn't a hood, well I had a rubber one I bought for it once so if I find it then it's all yours smile but I never used it.

In addition I am throwing in 1 circular polarizer and 1 ND filter both made by Hoya and really work well. These are cool for getting that dark sky look and changing things up. The filters alone cost about 100 bucks so you could sell them if you don't use them. Paypal is accepts and you pay directly to the foundation, not to me. Also can pay with check but it just takes longer. If you are in SD you can pick it up and pay cash as well.

Okay hit me up if you are interested. I think this will go soon because you just can't get a good quality lens like this for so cheap, and with the tax break. Plus it really is a great cause to help.

If I forgot anything hit me up.. otherwise Happy Holidays big_smile
