No seriously, is it?

I kinda want to have it on in the background while im working on my computer... more interested in the Hawaiian scenery break away shots than the game itself.

Nice gesture to let NFC center Jeff Saturday play one play on the AFC side, just for one last snap to Manning.

I still like the "Comicon for Football Fans" idea.  I brainstormed a whole bunch of activities (many of which are tongue-in-cheek):

...  Q&A Panels.
...  Autograph booths.
...  Quarterback skills competitions.
...  Obstacle course competitions (a la Ninja Warrior).
...  Laser tag in a strip club setting.
...  Madden tournament.
...  Pro-am touch football games.
...  Appropriate Olympic event competitions (e.g. weight lifting, 100m dash, etc.).
...  Talent show.  (Please include Karaoke).
...  Competitions -- catching a greased pig.  (The pig's revenge).

Whatcha think?

It's a terrific idea.  And it should be in the same city as that which holds the Superbowl each year.

Putting it in Hawaii puts it out of reach of the average football fan/family.  If it's anywhere in the continental states, it is feasible for most.

NFC, 650 to 30something. A real nailbiter for the ages.

I forgot to add...

...  Commissioner dunk tank.

I believe that the Superbowl brings $25 million to Hawaii.  They will miss it.  At least they can expect nice weather there in late January, unlike much of the rest of the country.

Thats the dumbest rule in all of sports!!   Gosh, I wish they would undo that immediately.  A team could have 112 wins, and end up playing on the road now to a wild card team with 86 wins.  Stupid.

prior to that, home field advantage alternated.  So you could still have a team with 95 wins playing on the road against a team team that won their division with 87.

Well, Chumley bought a used video game, Rick tried to buy a few things, but they were fake or not worth as much as the owner thought, and the old man bought an old printing press for $25.

For as much sports as my mother watches, she won't watch that game and never has.  Neither have I.
