Is this nude ?
https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/17014625 Another photographer and I have been discussing if this is nude, implied, or what. Jan 31 13 01:50 pm Link It depends on who u ask Jan 31 13 01:51 pm Link GPS Studio Services wrote: asking YOU, and anyone who sees this. Jan 31 13 01:52 pm Link It's a nude with bodypaint. Jan 31 13 01:53 pm Link What he's saying here is that there's not necessarily 1 "right" answer to this question. It's going to vary from person to person. Usually in these cases the only answer that matters is the one you choose for yourself. That said, I would tend to consider it implied. Jan 31 13 01:54 pm Link I'd consider it body painting/Implied Jan 31 13 01:56 pm Link the model does not shoot nudes - says so on her profile Jan 31 13 01:57 pm Link I would say nude but somewhat obscured. Jan 31 13 01:57 pm Link Ask a Mod Apparently this is NSFW: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/30591006 But this is OK: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/31196900 Your shot might be considered nude because of the visible outline of nipple... Jan 31 13 02:17 pm Link She is partially covered with opaque body paint. So not nude. Jan 31 13 02:18 pm Link This is one of those syntax grey area. Technically, if the genitalia or nipples can be clearly seen.. It's nude. Any non-clothing that prevents them from being seen: towel, ribbon, body posture, prop, or appendage.. Technically that's implied if the model is not dressed to society's current standards. Body paint is a hard area to address.. I've seen body paint done so well that the model can walk out in public because people aren't paying to close attention.. But all it takes is one person to notice and it can be a police issue. If this was in my portfolio I'd mark it as adult - 18 over only just to be on the safe side of any possible legal issue. Jan 31 13 02:31 pm Link It's like we need to define nude as if you can tell what is there, it's nude or we need another category to cover this case (be it body paint or wet t-shirt or whatever) Jan 31 13 02:32 pm Link Jan 31 13 02:34 pm Link WmBirch wrote: Jan 31 13 02:35 pm Link S W I N S K E Y wrote: +1 Jan 31 13 02:42 pm Link WmBirch wrote: I generally consider body paint "nude". Jan 31 13 02:45 pm Link I would say it is six of one and half a dozen of the other ... LOL Jan 31 13 02:46 pm Link Most noticeably, it's gold. Jan 31 13 03:51 pm Link it seems like models who don't do nudes will do bodypaint. so for them it isn't nude. to me if i can see nipples it's nude. as far as mayhem i don't know if you have to mark them 18+ or not. i would be inclined to mark it as NSFW myself. Jan 31 13 03:53 pm Link I would consider it Body Painted, yet Implied is the closest I would believe it to be. Jan 31 13 03:56 pm Link Model doesn't shoot nudes, so I guess not. Jan 31 13 04:00 pm Link Why does it matter? If you want to know if a model will do a particular idea, ask the model if she'll do it. The only person's opinion that matters is the model. Jan 31 13 04:11 pm Link Pretty much.... (o:} Jan 31 13 04:12 pm Link WmBirch wrote: I'm reminded of medieval scholars debating how many teeth a horse has. WmBirch wrote: It's bodypaint, it would be implied if more skin was showing in private areas. Jan 31 13 04:35 pm Link Yes, she just has gold stuff on her Jan 31 13 04:36 pm Link In my opinion this is Implied, since any 'inappropriate' parts are not readily seen, however I would still mark it as 'NSFW'/'Mature' because there are some audiences that would claim it to be to revealing. Jan 31 13 05:03 pm Link Its nude. Yet non revealing. Jan 31 13 07:01 pm Link GPS Studio Services wrote: WmBirch wrote: You will notice that there is no agreement here. The answers vary all across the board. That was the reason for my reply. Feb 01 13 04:21 pm Link Yes she would be nude: before, during and after the shoot, and after the shower. Even if she was facing the other way, she would still be nude, no? . Feb 01 13 06:50 pm Link I would classify as "covered" nude. Feb 01 13 06:58 pm Link John Horwitz wrote: Well, that settles it. Feb 01 13 07:36 pm Link implied... theres no uncovered goodies.. and thats that... Feb 01 13 07:45 pm Link WmBirch wrote: No, shes covered Feb 01 13 07:52 pm Link Although covered, there is still too much nippy at view. This would make my 12yo nephew sooooo happy. Otherwise it is a beautiful pic. Feb 01 13 08:02 pm Link |
