The Arizona ShootOut - Phoenix, AZ - April 12th - 14th, 2013 Beautiful nude models... awesome locations... great weather... Although we have called our event the 'Arizona ShootOut' for over 10 years, our event is based on one-on-one shooting. We always have an amazing lineup of nude models, you won't want to miss this. Spend a weekend shooting beautiful models in warm sunny Arizona. The locations are a photographer's dream come true. an 'old west' town set, old buildings, desert vegetation, great scenery... it's all going to be there waiting for you. For pros and beginners alike, the Arizona ShootOut is a great chance to add some killer shots to your book. It's the perfect opportunity to meet and photograph some of the models you've seen and heard so much about... with incredible photographic possibilities. This is a great event to get some unique images! All the images in my portfolio were taken at past ShootOuts and there are literally hundreds of awesome unique images here on MM that were taken at past Arizona ShootOuts! We are expecting a 3 to 2 photographer-to-model ratio. Our spring ShootOut promises to be an experience to remember. 8am to dusk Saturday and Sunday. And a Friday evening meet-and-greet! There will be 2 or 3 photo workshops/seminars over the weekend and there will always be someone to answer your photographic questions. And you and the models will have plenty of time to book private shoots. And it's just a short leisurely drive out I-10 from California! Feb 22 13 04:56 pm Link I'll be attending the AZSO for the third time now, and I want to say to any photographer who has not tried it yet but may be thinking about it: Stop thinking, and just go and sign up now. The AZSO is an excellent place for highly productive one-on-one photography with a fine selection of beautiful and talented models in a varied and rustic environment that will generate images that can put a sparkle in your portfolio. These events are run in a solid but laid-back way that gives everybody plenty of creative freedom and opportunity. Whatever your model photography leanings are - glamour, art, fashion or something else - you can do great shoots there, for there are highly experienced models attending who are well versed in many genres. The participating models and photographers are a friendly and comfortable bunch, and the weather and light is beautiful. Need I say more? I'm really looking forward to participating once again! (Oh, and by the way, no, Dave did not ask me to write this!) - Oli Palsson Here are a couple of images from my photoshoots at the AZSO in the past two years: Brenda Kucerova: Adrina Lynn: Feb 23 13 12:51 pm Link Palssonphoto wrote: Thanks for the post Oli! I am so excited to meet some new faces as well as see familiar ones again! For reasons of organization, planning etc I am pre-booking shoots now and am offering discounted rates! I shoot up to Playboy style nudity, come with a variety of wardrobe, am a former professional MUA, and have a diverse style. Please don't hesitate to contact me on here if you have questions, or would like to book a slot of this event! Looking forward to meeting everyone!! Nikki Lee Mar 02 13 11:26 pm Link Well, it is happening once again - the Arizona Shootout is five weeks away and the game is on: Like always, Dave and company are signing up truckloads of talented and beautiful models for the event - the first 10 have already been listed, so I have started pre-booking my model shoots already. This is such a great opportunity to get many months' worth of quality model photography done in a single weekend. You can do shoots from dawn to dark Saturday and Sunday if you wish, and in fact throw in Monday as well if you are not exhausted yet (I know I'll be so I'm skipping that option this time - I've already checked and sunset won't be until 6:59 PM that weekend, so these will be long photography days! I'm planning shoots right through the sunset hour). The models are great sports, they work hard non-stop all day long, so there is never lack of talent to work with. I usually like to stay a couple days on either side of the Shootout, but this time I have projects on both sides. We'll have to make the most out of the weekend. This is going to be excellent! Hey - there's still plenty of time for photographers to sign up and join this model photography extravaganza! More photographers = more models = even more photography opportunities and more fun. Mar 20 13 09:33 am Link Thursday bump. More models and photographers wanted. I have pets (dogs and cats - so consider this if you're allergic). Offer is open to either models or photographers. I live very close to the hotel for the Meet & Greet and not very far from Cowtown. Mar 22 13 06:11 pm Link Saying this workshop/shootout has it all would be untrue. So I won't do it. But if you want a photo experience where you are actually shooting with several beautiful models in an interesting setting, the AZ Shootout has to rank as one of the best glamour workshop experiences. If you don't want to listen to some blow-hard know-it-all talk about who and how they do it (...well you can just skip Dave's talk on Sunday!!) and have the chance to do a lot of shooting just sign up and bring a lot of memory cards. Ok, ok, I do give a morning workshop too...but you can call me a blow-hard if you think I'm talking too much. There is time for both casual group shooting which allows each photographer a chance to get to know each model and there is also time at the location to set up private shoots with individual models from the great line-up. Fellow photographers at each one that I have been to have been purely cooperative and this has seriously been the most ego-free group shooting I have witnessed. Maybe not totally ego free, but certainly less than I have observed at other groups. If you are strictly not into cowboy stuff, well then that's a whole other problem... Mar 23 13 03:03 pm Link You can get a great range of styles and backgrounds of photos at the ShootOut. I have a page of sexy photos from previous ShootOuts here: http://beautybygod.net/AZShootOut.html 18+ Mar 26 13 10:54 am Link Wow, we are up to 15 models now - and what a fine, interesting and varied list of talent it is! Apr 02 13 08:22 pm Link As alluded to before, I am getting up to the minute input from glamour/men's magazine editors for my workshop presentation. I am hoping that this information combined with my experience in shooting more that 150 magazine layouts and covers will shed some light on creating magazine and website photosets that photographers can take with them into the field. On the Shootout message board I mentioned that I had the good fortune to recently sell a magazine layout of HWCupcake to a UK magazine that should be coming out in the next few months (magazines are so SLOW) from a shoot I did AT the Shootout last year. And that is not the first one I have seen published. So it is certainly possible to create magazine-quality work at the AZ Shootout with the quality of models and the variety at the location. something from the studio: Apr 03 13 09:06 am Link Afternoon bump.
