This is not lasagna. This is extra wide egg noodles in "sauce". I feel cheated.

What's even more awesome is that the package claims it's "gourmet."

Right?! lol Oh I cannot wait to not be poor again, but the $0.64 price tag of these things is too good to pass up. And in all honesty, they don't taste horrible.

I haven't had those in years, but I remember eating them in college, because I didn't get off work until 10pm, and I didn't have energy to cook after I got home.

There were several of the pasta ones I used to like okay, but I would add olive oil and some dried herbs to it.

Yeah, the food is good, just needs some pepping up. I drowned this in dried red peppers.

You could probably throw some Tabasco in there.

Honestly, it looks better than some of my attempts at lasagne.

I never could make a decent lasagna either, despite the fact that I'm actually a reasonably good cook. Not great, but people generally like my food and want more of it. Lasagna isn't something I particularly love either, so I never devoted any inordinate amount of time to perfecting it, beyond maybe ten attempts, all if which turned out mediocre.
