Just curious what other models and photographers do as their second jobs OTHER then the obvious wink

I have a dual bachelors degree in media comm/comm studies and am looking for something in the public relations/marketing field.

I have an opportunity to become a news anchor but I have a feeling that if I took the job I'd get the boot soon after due to my modeling photos. Blah

During dead months or when I need a break, I usually find temporary work for 3-4 months. Bussing is good since that can be just a weekend job.

I get a pension from the military and our other money comes from business investments and my wife's side business of designing clothes and knitting, something I plan to eventually hire models for.  I don't really have a side job, but I certainly don't make any money from photography.  Lol

I have a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design, but don't really use it.

Cool. I did security work for Virginia Tech a few years back.  One of my favorite jobs ever.

Nothing at the moment.

I'm going back to school in Sept though to get my graduate's certificate in concurrent disorders. Hopefully that will allow me to get into social work.

This was full-time for me, for 3-4 years.

I'm now a personal trainer full-time, and do not shoot much anymore. A couple of times per month.

That could give your modelling a nice short term boost!  Your 15 minutes of fame awaits smile

I'm an IT consultant (SAP).

Photography is just a hobby.

I like to call myself a job nomad!

I've been a bank teller, a secretary, and a TSS (Theraputical Support Staff - working with children who have mental and behavioral difficulties and handicaps)
I have my Bachelor Degree in English Literature with a minor in Sociology.

Now I am a go-go dancer, jello-shot girl, model, and a mom.

It would certainly give me a boost but probably much more so in a negative way. Then what do you do in the aftermath? lol

I don't know what Sara Underwood does nowadays, but at least at one point she co-hosted a show on G4 following her Playboy gig. There's a few other examples out there. I don't know that it's the impediment that it used to be. A show might enjoy the notoriety and potential ratings bump. Don't know till you try it, and if you don't try it, you'll never know.

My severely secondary job is modelling... to the point where I don't consider it a job, career option, or something I put more than whatever effort I'm feeling at the moment into.

I work in game development as my actual career.
