So it was matching penalties.

Does anyone know what they were for?

Sloppy turnovers have been killing the Wings all series. This one sends them packing for the year.

Helluva series though.

So nice of the Hawks beat them twice.
After that call I think the Wings would have to score a 3 on 5 shorthanded goal to feel okay about them winning.

Since Chicago won (twice), that ref doesn't have to worry about getting lynched on the way to the parking lot.

You saying that call wasn't worse than the penalty shot for Frolik ?

Either way Hawks move on;  Detroit had 3 games to get their 4th win to close out the series and couldn't do it.

Penguins are my favorite hockey team but I think Kings/Hawks will be the better/more intriguing series.

Hawks look good take game 1. Richards looked a little woozy for LA after a big hit.

Bruins take Game 1. Pens hit too many posts. Interesting that Cooke got a 5 minute boarding and then later in the period a bruin gets the 2 minute variant, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

For a home team that's been in command most of the game, the Chicago arena is as sedate for a winning team as I've EVER seen.

Tonights game should be interesting, we'll see if the Pens can get their heads together. I would love to see B's vs Hawks in the cup.

I enjoyed watching the thumping the Hawks put on the Queens.

Watching the Pens implode was painful but I think they rebound. Pens are my pick for the cup winner but I love Boston too though.

Playoffs have been really good this year. Maybe we should shorten the season permanently?

Hawks vs B's or Pens works for me.

Game 2 (Bruins & Pens) has barely started & my B's are up 1-0 in a hurry. Not that I'm complaining.

5 goals total in the 1st period.

Is someone controlling these players via mind control? I feel like I'm watching a game of video game hockey.

3rd period just ended & its become a route. 5-1 Bruins.

The only question I have now is whether Marchand will get his playoff hat-trick.

The NBSN broadcasters were talking about the AHL Playoffs. I'm like "The AHL playoffs, what's that?"

Except for maybe 2 weeks, the local Flyers farm team hasn't clawed themselves out of the league cellar in the 4 years they've been here.

I'm a huge Pens fan, followed by Boston, and then Chicago, so it's pretty cool to have your 3 favorite teams in the final four.

Can't see the Queens coming back since they can't score, so Hawks go to the Final. They're just rolling now. Love it.

Amazed at how my Pens have completely collapsed and imploded. They haven't stunk this bad the entire year! (Not since last year's Philly fiasco.) But give the B's credit. Outscoring a team that has been averaging 4+ goals all playoffs by 9-1 is a testament to their skill and will. Boston Strong indeed!

Bruins vs Hawks should make for a great and exciting Cup Final!

Anyone who claims a low-scoring game (like hockey or soccer) is boring hasn't watched this Penns-Bruins Game 3 marathon thriller.
