OK, there's already one for best - but best fluffs the ego, while worst spurs improvement.

What's the WORST photo of the person above you, and why is it their worst?

oh ho....will all feelings survive if the thread gets replies ? wink

face it, you don't have a bad photo, which is fine, go you. lol

but for me if you made me pick?
the male nude

and honestly this is because for me male nudes are just no, i never look at a male nude and see the beauty or form the photog is trying to convey
i look and say "ugh why did they use a dude?"

and obviously you have an amazing and beautiful port, you have no bad photos, but the male nude form catches my eye in a not the same way a female does

it catches my eye and disturbs it instead of enjoying it

im sexist i guess lol

It's just an odd angle and makes a beautiful girl look a bit short.

I love your look and I love your port.  But if I had to pick one, it would be this one...

The lighting just doesn't quite sit well with me as there seems to be a spotlight on your face making it a lot brighter than everything else.

You have nice good shots, I see emotion, lighting used to good effect, and good concepts + story-telling.

However, for me this one, albeit sweet, I just found it to be dull and bland, she's smiling, but it seems empty, as if there was no connection.

I think that this is the weakest image in your port.  The lighting & contrast are off so much so that it is very hard to distinguish between the subjects and elements of the image.

I'm going to have to say this one 18+

There's something about the male model's expression that comes off a little too pervy for the concept. The concept is fine. I'm just not sure of the execution.

To whoever responds, throw a dart at my portfolio. It's full of worst photos. wink

This set... feel a noticeable lack of substance when compared to the rest of your port

I have to pick this one. Feels bland, and I don't like the styling of this shot. Posing of the legs could have been better too.

It is just too abstract and too narrow of a viewport (no context) for my taste. Just leaves me really flat.

John you don't really have "bad" images.
This is a fun and games sub-category, so I went for a "games" approach.  You can't see the bottom of her jaw, and the hair coming over her shoulder is in JUST the right place for a long beard.

Oh thanks - no problem. I was just confused as I just looked for the beard and couldn't see it after your original post, that's all.

I love the colors, composition, and the ratio of sky vs rock....but I feel that the pose is awkward, and not very flattering to the model.  Not a terrible image by any stretch, but some of your others are so much better. smile

Awesome port btw.  I suspect the photog viewed this as repeating forms but there is way too much going on in the backdrop, imo.

Really hard to pick one, but if I had to...

Only because there is so much motion with the hair, but no where else. Seems a bit unbalanced.

The lighting and expression aren't flattering, and since there's no arm, it looks like your hand is growing out of your forehead.

It feels very much like something I'd see in a glamour shotz commercial. Just kind of cheesy. I'd get rid of all of the photos of the model bending in a sexual manner - it's just not your forte. Otherwise I love your port.

Flat, hard to see, not a good crop or angle for the model. Distracting and competing background.

Not crazy about the cropping and think the shot is unflattering to the model.

DD: Holy shit, you make it hard to pick something to critique. Strong work!

If I have to chose something as a "worst," in my eyes, it's either this polaroid-y one: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/24100239 or your avatar picture: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/33394159.

Not a fan of the tones or processing in either one.

It just doesn't fit with the rest of your portfolio. It's a great shot, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's as strong as the rest.
