Good lord.  Some MM'ers can be so gullible sometimes.

Show me some real documentation that proves he makes anywhere near that amount.  With books sales and fees, I'll believe a few million.  58?  In his dreams.

$58M depends but he may have an arrangement where the client pays a fee and from that the photographer has to produce so many images for whatever time period. From the fee the photographer has to cover the model(s), MUA's, retouching ect ect which may not leave a lot of $. In addition copyright belongs to the client.
A bit like the music industry where the artist was paid an amount to produce a certain number of records.

An arrangement Annie Leibovitz has with some clients. Her reportedly earnings being $82 million between June 2012 and June 2013.

Welcome to American capitalism. Where pop culture and the mundane rule the industry. Just like Warhol, the average consumer and creative directors do in fact have very little taste. Its about names and rep, not even the work. He's so overplayed its sickening...Just wish he would disappear. Its just bad photography. Thats all there is to it...I could careless about his money, his work doesn't justify it. He must have done a lot of "favors" back in his day..

It maybe a case of breaking down the numbers things such as assets, S Mesiels house is on the market for $13 mill, does this go towards what he's valued at.

There maybe some very creative accounting on paper which is not the same as  liquid assets.

Wow... And Annie Leibovitz has a net worth of 245M( http://en.mediamass.net/people/annie-le … -paid.html)

Since we are all online, how about doing a little google search to find where this number comes from?

Check this article: http://en.mediamass.net/people/terry-ri … -paid.html
Now learn some more about the website: http://en.mediamass.net/blog/mediamass-project

The number comes from a satire website. Do you really believe that he would make 58M in one year?
