Hi, and Happy New Year

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/190101/02/5c2b42a7a10f3_m.jpg
For me this photo looks like too wide a lens was used, notice how over pronounced the nose appears? It also seems over exposed.
Great focus on her eyes!

Head is too square to camera, would prefer to see just one ear, also not pleased with the look of the eyes to the side, which is blasting the camera with the white of her eyes.

Face is too dark as well as her eyes. Note that in this one we can only see one ear, creates a much stronger pose.

Head seems out of focus

I wish you well

thank you Lee, I was a little difficult to work with her, she has CP, it was all she could do just to stand a few seconds in a few of her pictures
if you ever get a chance to work with a disabled person do it, they are fun, but they have a hard time keeping super still

We all sacrifice and we all need to make less sacrifice to our ports and upgrade constantly.  Upgrade your look.  The links above are all active within the last 30 days.  Might have to fork over some support, it's an investment to your business.

Your lighting, it's nice, needs more drama, contrast, love.  Get a very cheap reflector and use it to create some more definition , more contrast (https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-43-inch-C … hotography).  It can also be used to take out the harsh sunlight for those images that have too much contrast.  Use the diffuser and get it as close to your subject as possible without causing unwanted shadows, look for shadows man!  It'll be too late if you're in the edit portion of the shoot.

Study, study those that are nailing it.  High followers on IG, rings here on MM.  Study, compare, develop, change, repeat.

People that are nailing it because of their images not their salesmanship.  IG account:

Generalising based on degree of capabilities or disabilities is as bad as making broad unsubstantiated statements based on origin, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, colour of skin or hair, task or short, skinny or not etc.

Best to step back when photographing faces, use longer focal length if you can. The face portraits are too distorted by perspective/lens to be comfortable to look at or flattering.

I also feel that you have a problem with exposure. Regarding the above discussed images, the FACE is not properly exposed. It is either too blown out/bright or too dark, in the shade. I would start with correct exposure, once you fully mastered that you can start experimenting with "artistic exposure and breaking the rules". Right now the rules of skin exposure have not been mastered so regular Caucasian skin is not shown properly.

For dark shots, use fill/reflector. For bright shots, get the exposure right, position the model out of direct sunlight, soften the light by interposing a diffuser, which is another version of a reflector, they usually come with 4 or 5 options by just turning it inside out/switching it around.

The one standing on the wall is properly exposed by the light is not exciting, the pose is not exciting, so kinda hard to get excited about it. Perhaps cropping it differently? Also, legs kinda look smallish compared to the head/upper body, you might be shooting down on her, I would level the shot more.

Ok, minor correction, you mentioned she has CP so the pose might be fine in that case because we have to respect and accept each person's abilities, I hope I did not imply somehow anything negative. I assumed incorrectly. It probably represents things well and true to life and there is value and merit there. Changing the perspective might still have given it a touch more balance without her changing anything herself.

The other comments stand, LOL, it is YOUR responsibility to get the exposure right, not the models, LOL.

Keep on shooting and improving.
