You are very photogenic and there are several really wonderful images that show that fact off very well. Your best shot. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44820664 There are shots in your collection that show off your beauty, hair, and general looks better but this shot shows your ability to hit a mark or pose. In fact if you have an opportunity to shoot this in a studio or somewhere with a less cluttered background you should. But looking at this one I'd certainly qualify you a talented model. Of course all of you images are very nice but I guess my least favorite is. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45059154 It's a reasonable shot of the dress but it doesn't show case your talent very well. There's a lot of distractions even for just showing off the dress. Also take a few minutes and rotate the shots that need it. Lovely work on your part and I believe you will find many opportunities to be in front of a lens or walking a runway. Thanks so much for asking my opinion.

I think your best shot is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45260432 I would pay attention to cropping when shooting and try not to leave our feet or fingers but you made good use of lighting here and I like the shadow play on the background. The skin tones and textures are also good. The one I like the least is. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/31267498 I understand the concept but it needs to be more dramatic for this idea to work. Some lovely images in your collection. eddiemac wrote: I’m game. I like https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/28892273 best. I like the low camera angle adding height to the model, the smaller aperture to separate the model from the background, and it's sharp. The composition could be a touch better moving camera angle to get the limbs out of the model's head. My least favorite here is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/18148505 mostly because I don't like the umbrella. It makes the shot to cheesy. And I'm guilty of having done the same thing before. Without the prop though it would be a wonderful image. Also it looks like an on camera flash was used that produces the pinpoint highlights in the eyes but I could be wrong about that. Overall some nice photo work. I'd work on my knowledge of lighting a bit so things aren't so flat looking. But very nice job. Thanks for asking my opinion.

It just doesn't measure up to your other images. Really this is just more of a personal preference thing with me as I'm not fond of a face being in heavy shadow. Keep in mind the one I picked as best I love and the face is in heavy shadow so there are exceptions. Overall many wonderful images in your portfolio here several of which could knock out my first choice. Thanks so much for asking my opinion.

Wow...thank you so much for getting me and understanding my image!! Everyone has been telling me "its underexposed, there's not enough light, etc., etc." I shot it this way on purpose as I just wanted to outline her form and add some movement to an otherwise, static image. I appreciate your taking the time to review my portfolio!

Your best shot is most certainly https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45292211 The framing / composition is terrific. Overall I like the lighting although I'm not fond of pinpoint catch lights in the eyes. But in this shot it's not such an issue. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45302810 is the one I think you could delete should you decide you have too many images. It doesn't measure up to your others. Some very nice images in all. Thanks for asking my opinion.

The crop / composition is right on, the lighting is beautiful, and the hues and tones are very nice. Beautiful work. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44740805 is not really such a bad shot but I'm choosing it because the hair blends into the dark background, the pose could be better if she was at an angle to the lens, and the lighting has her legs as the brightest area of the image which will pull the eyes of the viewer away from her pretty face. Overall really pretty work! Have fun and thanks for asking my opinion.

Robyn Leslie wrote: Would love your feedback. Mostly studio stuff so far. Very nice work overall. Your best shot is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45023100 This seems like the closest to a natural expression and pose in the set. I think the least flattering is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44235718 It's usually not a good idea to be exactly flat with the cameras field of plane. It's almost always a good idea to have some degree of angle with the camera. While it's a photographer's fault for not catching this you should be aware and try not to pose this way. When the photographer uses flat lighting as in this case whatever is closest to the light will be brightest, in this case your knees. And when someone views an image their eyes are drawn first to the brightest area. Overall some really nice poses and expressions. Just get in front of a mirror and practice more and more natural things. Search and bookmark a hundred or so poses online you want to replicate and bring them with you to your next shoot. It's ok to use other peoples poses to learn as you get started. Having a prepared list of ideas always helps. You don't always have to look at the camera if that helps. Find a photographer who can get creative with light and shadow. And incorporate some different styles of images so they don't look like they were all taken at one time. Lovely work with potential. Thanks for asking my opinion.

I think your best shot is your avatar https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44956213 I like the composure / crop. The lighting is pretty and there is separation of the model's dark hair from the background. This shot I like the least is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/43534539 I'm not fond of the pose you have her in. It forces a strain on her forehead creating lines that otherwise might not be apparent. I also don't feel the lighting is as pretty as the rest of your images. It seems more harsh. Overall lovely portraiture. I wonder if you might enjoy some natural light work to mix in with it. Thanks for asking my opinion.

Madison Mayne wrote: Love to hear your picks Thanks, Madison Setting aside the photography aspect and only considering your modeling here's what I think. You best is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44359526 This image in my mind represents your ability to show fashion. You've posed in such a way to accent your curves which in turn shows off the outfit you are in very well. It's professional. Of course I'm no fashion expert by any stretch of the imagination but it looks like a magazine shot to me. I honestly don't find an image I dislike for your modeling abilities anywhere, even in your credited photos not in your portfolio. But since I'm obligated to choose one then https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/40160399 It's a good job of showing off clothing and probably perfect for a client to sell that outfit. I don't really find anything wrong with it. It just seemed a little weaker than the rest. Exceptional work! Thanks for allowing me to share my opinion.

You should find some photographers and work some trade to build it. Currently I like https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45312652 best. It's a very natural relaxed look and pose. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45312414 is your weakest currently. You look like you will be fantastic in front of a lens. Look around online and bookmark some great poses and practice them. Then find some photographers looking for trade. Try to find some really good photographers and as you are able be picky about what you add to your collection. You have a great look. Thanks for asking my opinion.

Raw Image Photo wrote: Me too Your best image is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/13475553 It's well composed / framed. It's a natural beautiful image dependent on nothing more than the subject. The lighting is nice. The image is sharply focused with no signs of motion blur. A little fill light from a reflector or off camera flash would have given it a little more snap. The image I feel is your weakest is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45322592 It suffers from either motion blur or focus problems. The background sky is blown out and becomes white. You have some lovely models and great scenic locations. Spend a little time and add some fill lighting now and then. Just a simple collapsable reflector will do. Solve your focus or motion blur issues which show up now and then. Overall you have fantastic ideas, subjects, locations, and an eye for capturing beauty. Great images so far. Thanks for asking my opinion.

Znude! wrote: Your best is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44468788 It's very dynamic. The pose, composition, and lighting all hit the mark perfectly. I'm least impressed with https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45286523 The background and everything else in the image overpowers the model. Beautiful work in general and I'm sure it will just keep getting better. Thanks for asking. Thanks for the feedback and I agree with the critique of the second photo. The model didn't like the tones of the photo so I edited it with cooler, more natural tones. I enjoyed looking through your portfolio, too.

CherryBomb227 wrote: I'm curious I offer this with respect to a model building a portfolio of images which will showcase abilities and looks as a model. Your images so far being from only one photographer with a very distinctive style and look do more to showcase the photographer than you the model. So I'm sure you already know you need to find other photographers and get some different looks in your collection moving forward. I think your best image is https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44829716 Out of all your images this might be the only one that really shows you and your unique attributes. It's a beautiful capture of you against a rough surrounding. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/44829714 might be the least productive image for getting you more jobs as it doesn't really even show you at all. That's why I say a lot of your images are fine for the photographer's showcase but not as productive for you as a model. Your collection does show you excuse strong emotional looks and are certainly capable of acting out parts and command a variety of emotions for the lens. I think it will serve you well to do some trade with other photographers shooting other styles that do more to show off more of you and less of the surroundings you are posing in. After al you are here to sell your services as a model so the more looks you include the more openings you will get to choose from. Thanks so much for asking my opinion.

The House of Velvet wrote: Good Morning! I'd love some input when you have time! Have a fantastic day! First I have to say your fashions are exceptional. But to choose images you've produced as a photographer I'm not considering that. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45166725 is the image you've produced I think is best. I love the lighting here along with the pose. Everything is soft yet you've maintained good sharpness on the eyes. All of your images share a style which of course works well with your fashions with the exception of the race car. But even the race car image is great. So I'm getting slightly technical here and going with https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/45369445 as your least best image. It's a fine image and does well to represent the clothing and model. I just think the framing / composition could be better. Beautiful work and lovely fashions. Thanks for asking my opinion.
