Where are Photoshop action files in Mac OS?
I want to back up all my Photoshop actions. I have 10 years of actions. I don't particularly want to save each folder one at a time, because I have so many folders. Also I would like to backup monthly, so then I really don't want to do it with one folder at a time within Photoshop. So I went looking on Google to see where all the files are stored locally. Several threads pointed me to this address /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC [year version]/Presets/Actions I went there and just saw a blank actions folder. I even knew this particular Library folder is hidden and knew how to get inside to access the nested folders within. I've read that I need to look for a file named "Actions palette.psp" but I can't find it even with a spotlight search on Mac OS. Anyone know how to find this file named - Actions palette.psp? Thanks in advance. So for my situation only the Adobe default actions exist but not where you suggested from your search efforts. They are found in Macintosh HD(or what ever you named your HD) ->Applications -> Adobe PhotoShop -> Presets -> Actions. HTH.
