Even if we won't have to face a second wave of the virus.. The next few years are going to be the most challenging for the US and the rest of the world. And again, we will have to rely on our gigantic "credit card" to put a band aid on the problem....
In my 50+ years in NYC, I remember 3 major events. The moon landing!...Nothing this country could not achieve!
Then 9/11! Hoops! the country got caught with it's pants down and no place is safe in spite of the largest military forces in the world. And then the virus and again the US its with pants down... Due to my age, I won't see "Great again"....
