Wasn't sure where to post this besides the off-topic forum. This "photographer" got my email from my profile and has been messaging me with offers to shoot, but asking for nude photos. The whole thing feels sketchy. His email to me: "My client has a private collection of fine art photography in her home, mostly B&W large format figure studies. All poses are very tasteful, some may be topless/nude but those would not show your face. MUA as well as wardrobe will be provided (need current measurements). Closed set, but if you wish to bring one escort that is acceptable. Please provide; Hourly rates Measurements & photos (current hair color & length) Let me know if you need transportation assistance Audition video - please show you are comfortable shooting topless/nude Dropbox - Submit files. Links to recent work is acceptable Availability preferences (weekday(s)/weekend, morning, afternoons/etc.) Thanks, Dave " Is it just me, or does it seem unprofessional to request nude photos through email before meeting? Why not just message a model that already has nude photos in their portfolio...

Shoot Nudes: No Being that Your profile states that You do not shoot nudes I'd say the request is very unprofessional and somewhat shady. * This is why it's recommended not to make Your private email address public, Contact a Moderator with the info although I don't think there is much that can be done here.

+1 to what FIFTYONE wrote and Zura Moonleaf wrote: Is it just me, or does it seem unprofessional to request nude photos through email before meeting? Why not just message a model that already has nude photos in their portfolio... ^ this ^ all those requests are unnecessary.

In that case theres always the option of subscribing his email address to some hardcore porn or other advertising lists. unwanted emails? return the favor

The adult thing to do in this case is to write the photographer and simply say you are not interested in his offer. He has done nothing to cause any caustic remarks or childish behavior. He simply made an offer. Why is this even an issue? As for the "revenge" absurdity, it is totally unprofessional. Act like an adult.

Act like an adult. It wasnt a legit offer or photographer, it was some creep. Theres no reason at all to reply to some strange perv who got your email address from a website and then contacts you asking for nude images and video under the weakest guise ever that its for some client of his. If he was a legit photographer, and had a client who already had a bunch of similar content; then they would have resources, method, and enough common sense to contact models who produce the content they want. The guy is obviously some lying asshole. Have a sense of humor. Granted i was making a joke about what to do with his email; yes, the revenge aspect is totally unprofessional and that is exactly what would make it fucking hilarious. "Acting like an adult" means you can send adult content to some jerk who is fishing for nudes. He wants nude images, send him something that will require eye bleach after. Because fuck 'em. Sometimes its important to stand up for yourself. In my opinion that can justify making the world a little tougher for jerks sometimes. Its like karma. By the way, whats your email address? just kidding haha

When asking him to elaborate further, he had multiple nude requests such as introducing myself wth my shirt on in a video, then taking my shirt off after, etc... and then it progressed into how I would also need to be comfortable showing my lower half nude as well.. 0__o I also emailed him from another email to ask about available shoots and "that a friend recommended me to contact him" and he copy and pasted the same request to that email too (which doesn't necessarily indicate he's scaming, but still...) I didn't reply much from that 2nd email and he kept following up to see if I was still interested and requested photos. His signature is David Baker DLBG Productions But when I quote search "DLBG Productions" it doesn't seem to exist anywhere.. anyway though, he already said it won't work out since I am not comfortable shooting nude so that's the end of that

There is lots of stuff floating around the internet. I don't reply to any of the spam that I receive. One school of thought is that you should keep your email address secret.

In the last century I had a girlfriend that worked in a large grocery store. In those days most of the cashiers were all women. Since they were on their feet all day, a guy that worked their would give them foot massages on their breaks. At some point he was arrested somewhere for touching a woman inappropriately on her feet. Turns out he had a foot fetish. Little did the girls know they were actually having sex with the guy!!! John

By the same token you should write all those guys from Lagos that are informing you that their Emperor has died and left $600 billion to you in a secret bank account. Don't forget to reply with a "no thank you" to the guy that claims he'll give you 80 percent of the $5million dollar lottery that he just won but can't claim in his own name. By the way, your car warranty is about to expire. Would you like to purchase an extended warranty? Please do the 'adult thing' by replying to let me know.

Because I legit love foot massages and even pay people for them before (I'm also a TCM/CCM enthusiast and believe in reflexology). However, if someone is heavy breathing and making the vibe all sexual, I wouldn't be able to vibe with that. I know some who get paid for their "clients" to touch their feet, so that guy at the grocery really had a good gig going while it lasted I suppose.. but I personally feel he should've maybe mentioned he was into feet like that? I guess this can turn into a philosophical discussion

Also i have no idea what this has to do with this thread, but uhhh, cool story bro? Makes me think of the scene in Pulp Fiction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD1CNqghN7Q you can skip to 2:00

Pardon my answering for Zura but: I do not think the contact was made through the MM message system or that the sketchy person is even a member here.

My point was that this guy doesn't actually need to see Zura, all he needs is a pic of her. And all the more tantalizing since she doesn't shot nudes he'll feel like he has power over her if she actually caved and sent the pics!!! John.

Ever since I changed my cell phone to a new carrier, I've been getting messages every day that my car warranty is expiring and this is my final notification, my last chance to renew! And yes,I get 5-10 spam phone calls and 5-10 spam emails per day.
