It seems that the mods have a problem with imagining nudity in where there is none. I submitted a photo to the regular POTD contest (not +18) and the model say there is too much nudity in the photo. The photo has been fine on Facebook and Instagram for years. When I point that out to the mods, they say it doesn't matter and they have their own rules. I think they are trying to imagine nudity everywhere. By the way, I have 9 points now because of issues like this and am getting close to suspension. The mods are just pushing the artists to take their work to other sites. Here is the message the mod sent me today. Thank you for your entry to the Model Mayhem Pic of the Day. However, the following entry has been removed: Photo: https://photos.modelmayhem.com/potd/ent … 22-big.jpg Reason: This image appears to contain at least one Mature image element, (nipple/areola) and should go in the POTD18+ contest. Images with nudity that do not contain any elements listed as Mature in our image rules are permitted in the POTD. (1 point. The picture of a woman in a metallic bikini was rejected for the regular POTD. Could barely see anything but they connected the dots. Then there was this other picture that was rejected for POTD 18+, Spread (very popular in this category), and a suggestive gaze. They did not like the combination. Strangely the picture is fine for my portfolio. The only way to avoid demerit points is to get the approval of a moderator before submission. I do it anytime there would be a shadow of a doubt. Apr 30 23 10:02 am Link Always a good idea to check all images with the mods before entering them in the contest. I email every single shot I enter in any contest beforehand to get approval or not. Even after doing this I've had a few times that an image is approved but then gets rejected by the full mod team when I actually submit it to the contest. But since I did check beforehand I don't get any points. I just miss out on having an image in the contest that day, and the time I spent retouching the image. You can email your images to [email protected] before entering them in the contests to get them approved or not. And just as a side note, a ton of my shots get rejected, probably more than half.
