About Me

The Ghost Town Project is an ongoing infrared artistic nude project by photographer Aaron Egnor (aesthetixphoto, MM #154922).

While recovering from knee replacement I started researching various places to go hiking, and discovered that the Pacific Northwest has many, many ghost towns - some that are barely remembered, some that still have standing structures.  After finding a few photographs of the remaining buildings (or what passes for buildings) I started thinking of ways to incorporate these forgotten towns into a photo series, and the Ghost Town Project was created.

I will be visiting every ghost town I can locate in the areas of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia.  So far I've counted over 100 settlements, camps, and towns, and they've each been added to my list of shooting locations.  Over the next 2+ years I plan to visit these locations, work with local models (where possible), and put together a portfolio of infrared artistic nudes using the most interesting locations I can find.  I will be posting casting calls regularly for this project, so please keep an eye out for your area.

If you are a Seattle area model and are interested in road tripping with me to some of these locations, I would be happy to have the company.  I will cover transportation costs, room and board, and tequila when necessary smile

I will be looking for models in each of the areas I mentioned above, so if you are interested, please get in touch with me.

Due to travel costs this project will be entirely TFCD until further notice.

Thank you for your interest, and I do look forward to sharing the results of this project here on Model Mayhem.
