With more than 18 years of experience under his belt, Singaporean photographer Jay.C started out as a school photographer covering events for editorials. With a keen sense of visual spaces and genuine interaction with his subjects, he began to specialise in portraiture back in 2008.

He believes a photo is timeless as the photographer capture that moment in time and freezes it to be kept and not forgotten. Looking back at the picture, that 'moment' is indeed worthy to be reminisced.

Rooted in a marketing and communications background, Jay is able to visualise beautiful concepts in all his work. He is currently based in Singapore covering commercial work primarily for portrait, event and product commissions.​

Nb: I have been getting a lot of these lately so I would like to share. Models, please do not contact me and say what a wonderful portfolio/work I have, saying that you would love to collaborate with me and in the end, is just trying to ask for payment. Do find out the meaning of collaboration in this industry. I would in fact, be very appreciative of models who PM me upfront when they are looking for paid work. FYI - Even though I may not be a celebrity, I do get paid assignments in my country. I hope you respect my art as I respect yours. Thanks.
