About Me

I am a life-long photographer and have always dabbled around the edges of wanting to work with professional models to see if my "eye" was any good.  In October, I took the plunge and contracted to work with the lovely London Andrews.  Outtakes from that session are in my portfolio.  I want to continue to explore those aspects of photography that appeal to me.  There are many genres that interest me, not all involve nudity, so it would be impossible to list them all.

For me, this is more than just something I want to "dabble" in; my hope is to collaborate with models and model/photographers to create art in which we can both take pride.  A mutual respect is important and while it can be difficult to "connect" in a short time and over a long distance, it is my belief that if we both are committed to the art and its production then we can overcome those two minor obstacles.  Models who want to watch the clock from the beginning of a session to the end of it vex me.  I accept the responsibility to be respectful of your time and the fact that, in many cases, you have other commitments.  I will do everything in my power to ensure you are able to leave on time and make it on time.  While we are working, I desire your focus to be on what we are trying to produce vice your next income source.  I realize this is how you make a living and trust you will treat my time with you in a like manner.  I don't just want photos of you, I want a product we'll both be proud to print and market.  Make sense?  Bottom line is if ALL you're interested in is the paycheck aspect of the transaction, we're probably not of a like mind; if, however, you want to attempt to make art and are committed to bringing just as much energy and creativity to a photo session then GREAT -  I WANT TO COLLABORATE WITH YOU AND MAKE ART!

I'm easy going and am looking for models who wish to collaborate with me.  Their ideas coupled with mine are how we create art.  I like to bounce ideas around and make our photo session a collaboration not just a bunch of poses and images.  I prefer natural light and do not like to use Photoshop to distraction.  The image is what I want to preserve, the light at that moment.  The pose of the model and the emotion on their face.  I want the photos we create to be the result of emotion and, hopefully, those who view our work will see that emotion and experience it, too.
