With over a decade of hair and makeup experience in a variety of genres, Vanessa has worked extensively in photography and video mediums, and has provided services for public and red carpet events. She predominantly works on commercial shoots and tests, fashion editorials, and in film and video where special effects makeup is not needed.
    Vanessa began studying cosmetics application in early 2004 and proceeded to finesse her makeup artistry skills over the following years. With opportunities to study under various makeup artists in Toronto through private lessons, as well as by assisting, Vanessa has grown into a talented and creative artist with a drive to produce her best work at each opportunity.
    Having been originally trained in fine arts, and then graphic design, she made the transition into makeup when it became apparent that working on human faces was where her skills were best used. She's never looked back since then and endeavors to bring her creativity, artistry and skill to each client.
    Vanessa's body of work includes published beauty and fashion editorials, videos, talent and model tests, and client makeovers.

RATES

Talent/model tests:      $250 half day, $350 full day
                                or $150 for a single person for 3 hours

Bridal/Special Events:  $150 to $250*/person

Commercial/film rates:  $350-$450* half day, $500-$800* full day

Brow Shaping:
    Full Service (best for ungroomed and unruly brows):  $25
    Upkeep (for groomed or previously shaped brows):    $15
