About Me

Lets face it. COVID messed everything up.

I am cleaning out Zombie Accounts that have not had any activity in years but are on auto pay and still lingering.

So I am building a new network of talent for various projects.

I work in TV but do "still" work for personal/art gallery showings, proof of concepts and am currently building a new portfolio to solicit commercial clients.

This is my creative release. I am working on projects now that get away from the usual photos you see all time. There are tons of images of stunning models both male and female that are beautiful and well executed but they don't say anything.

If your portfolio looks like everybody else's portfolio then you know what I am talking about.

I am designing new shoots that have a message in them.

If we work together the project will always start with a production meeting over coffee or lunch. On me of course. We will talk about what the feel is going to be, go over story boards, tone pics, locations, makeup, wardrobe, get your input etc.

It's also good for us to check each other out and get a vibe. Lots of strange folks in this business on both sides of the camera.

Open for collaborations with models, MUAs, stylists and other like minded creators.

I don't use re-touchers. For better or for worse my stuff is what it is because of the choices I make, not someone else.

Please include the following, as much as possible:

1) A link to a current full body picture (unfortunately not everyone's port is up to date)
2) Link to your portfolio of work (MM page is fine)
3) What city you live in
4) If you are traveling to Los Angeles, what dates are you available to shoot
5) Attach any inspo images from my Port as reference to kind of shoot/look you want to accomplish.
6) Do not send me pics of another photographers work and ask me to copy their style. If you like what person X does go hire person X.

"I loved working with John! He is a great photographer, creates a fun, easy going, and very comfortable safe space to collaborate and work with. Helped provided me with food, drinks, and makeup /jewelry and props since i didn't have much of my own. He always makes sure you're respected and comfortable. He makes the "job" fun and worth it! Btw ladies! - He prefers to meet up in advance from the shoot date, to get to know you and talk business, so don't shy away from that because its the safest & smartest decision to do.
