About Me

First off, I normally work under the name JPH Photography however that is already taken on here so I'm going with my full name.

Its been forever since I've updated my bio on here so I figured I should probably do that. To be honest I'm not active on MM that much anymore so to see my latest work visit my website at or my flickr gallery at the flickr gallery is constantly updated.

I will still do some TFCD work if I think it will benefit my portfolio or if I have something specific I want to try out.

My Disclaimer:

Here's a few things I want to put upfront so there is no confusion.

TFCD: I define this as a CD with the final edited shots only, if it didn't make the cut it doesn't leave my hands. I've worked hard to establish my portfolio so I don't risk the chance of images I took getting out there that I don't deem "up to my standards". From a normal shoot a safe bet is probably 10-20 shots, I take my time editing and retouching these and this is hours of work so I've got to be picky. If I'm shooting a specific theme or idea the goal may only be a few variations of a single shot so it may be as little as 1 (hopefully stunning) shot.

Nudes, boudoir, implied nudes...
I don't normally shoot nudes which I define as having visible genitalia in the finished image. The first sentence used to read never but I've since dabbled, it has to be very special circumstances for me to do a full nude shoot. In this one instance it was something I felt I needed to try to grow as a photographer.  I will however shoot boudoir/implied nudes, this will require the model to be nude or partially nude but the images would be acceptable in say a Maxim magazine. I will not shoot any sort of boudoir/implied nudes with models under 18.

Conduct and professionalism.
Even though I am doing TFCD work I treat every photoshoot as if it were a paid professional job. This means being well rested (not hungover) and punctual for the shoot. In return I expect the same from the models. If you come to the shoot looking like you just rolled out of bed after a night of clubbing you can consider the shoot called off and not expect us to work together again. Same goes for no shows, if for some reason you need to cancel make sure you call (preferably with ample warning) and explain the situation.
