I am an enthusiastic photographer from the North East of England based just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne.
My photographic interests are wide and varied (including underwater marine).
I am on a crusade to raise my profile above "amoeba like" status in the photography food chain and have had some success with fashion and portrait images.

I am happy to shoot in a studio or on location (subject to weather)
I am always striving to improve on my technique and at the same time expand my portfolio.
I am a member of a local Photographic Society and regularly enter local and international competitions (again with some success) and am always looking for that "different" look.

My attitude to portraiture is reflected by Ralph Waldo Emerson -
“An eye can threaten like a loaded and levelled gun, or it can insult like hissing or kicking or, in its altered mood, by beams of kindness, it can make the heart dance for joy. ... One of the most wonderful things in nature is a glance of the eye it transcends speech it is the bodily symbol of identity.”
