I was never a good painter but was always a good electrician so I paint with lights.

Nobody tells this to people who are beginners. I wish someone had told me. All of us who do creative work, we get into it because we have good taste. But there is this gap. For the first couple of years you make stuff, it's just not that good. It's trying to be good, it has potential, but it's not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you. A lot of people never get past this phase; they quit. Most people I know who do interesting, creative work, went through years of this. We know our work doesn't have this special thing that we want it to have. We all go through this. And if you are just starting out, or you are still in this phase, you gotta know that it's normal and the most important thing you can do, is do a lot of work. Put yourself on a deadline so that every week you finish one piece. It's only by going through a volume of work that you will close the gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. And I took longer to figure out how to do this than anyone I've ever met. It's gonna take a while. It's normal to take a while. You just gotta fight your way through.

Fashion/Promotional/Editorial Photographer. Also work as a Photoshop editor specializing in HDR for models. I shoot everything Digitally and can make prints from wallets to 13"X19". Working as a musician and filmmaker as well I strive to find the personality in the model/actor/musician and show it in the most dynamic style I can get. $75 an hour Shoot in Studio
Includes solid color background, Disc of all Images, 6 Edits

$100 for 1 hour On-Location Shoot
Includes any location in the city of Utica, Disc of all Images, 6 Edits

I have access to Hair and Makeup people if requested, their rates are separate and depend on assignment. You can book for one-hour minimum shoots. I'm very professional, set everything up from studio to locations ahead of time to making all contracts. I'm am willing to do TF work depending on what my print and graphic ads call for. 1 hour is usually all I need, unless makeup and hair are on the shoot as well, takes a little more time. I always have photos edited and in my dropbox account within 10 days, you can also pick up a disc in person. I can do prints but that cost is a separate cost that's negotiable.
