I am a Philadelphia, PA local photographer and fashion stylist. Yes . . . you heard correctly. . . I can also style you for a shoot. My photography business is called "Nice" and the girls that I shoot are called "Nice Girls." You don't have to be a model to be a Nice Girl . . . you just have to enjoy taking photos. In addition to photography I also provide graphic design and marketing services worldwide. My favorite applications to work with are the Adobe Creative Cloud programs. I am a graduate of Drexel University with a degree in mechanical engineering.

NICE GIRL MODEL TIPS:

Only keep your best photos. Do not clutter your portfolio with inferior work. You are only as good as your worst picture! It's all about quality; not quantity! Your minimum portfolio should contain a casual head shot, styled head shot, body shot (conservative swimsuit or lingerie), a fashion shot (sexy), an action shot, an editorial shot and even a catalog shot.

Being versatile is great, but don't try to do everything. Determine what type of modeling you are the most interested in doing and is best suited for your body type and height. Then, work hard to develop excellent poses and photos in those areas. It's important to make sure your portfolio reflects these goals. If it doesn't, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Keep in mind that modeling is more than just creating poses. It's about working with the photographer as a team. Understand what the photographer is trying to accomplish. If he doesn't tell you, ask.
