My name is Nikki Jackson. I am a 26 year old passionate senior stylist at Renaissance Hair and Beauty in Leeds. I have been in the hairdressing industry for nearly 11 years now and still feel as excited about it as I did at the beginning!

I worked for Toni and Guy for 7 years where I completed all my advanced training as a stylist...during that time I organised and executed salon fashion shows both as a trainee and my qualifying show...this included a range of skills from booking the venue, make up artist DJ, and organising and finding the models and of course styling the hair!!

I then moved to HOB for and was their for 2 years as a Stylist and Sunday manager...However, as much as I enjoyed working there I wasn't getting opportunities I wanted which were getting more involved with more comercial and fashion side to hairdressing...e.t.c....photo shoots, fashion shows, music videos...

I now work for Renaissance Hair and Beauty which is the best decision I could have ever made.

So far I have worked with 3 photographers: Claire Morris, Benji Turgel and John Gardiner.
I have done hair for a Water aid charity fashion show, have been involved in photo shoots for Excite clothing company, a photo shoot for the Fuji Film competition, entered Wella trend vision and recently done the hair for the Chu Chi girls next music video....and plan to do a photo shoot for my own portfolio in April...

Latest news! i have just got through to the 2nd heats at Wella trend vision. Only 20 people are chosen from the North. This is a regional and international competition.
