Keisha began sewing early at the tender age 12 by making designs for her dolls and family members. Then she received the opportunity to learn the fashion industry from the runway as a model doing numerous Fashion shows, Print ads, and more. It was there that she noticed how easy it was for women size 10 & under to find unique designs while plus size models were left out of the runway.
Today as a plus size woman, Keisha understands the need for a fresh perspective in the plus size market. Keisha says “I know that there are women like me who recognize that we get dressed everyday in hopes of reflecting creatively what we bring to the world. I was tired of buying the standard uniform that every woman has, I needed luxurious feminine clothes that make a statement”.
Therefore Keisha entered the fashion business from another lane by starting a clothing line for Plus Size Women that’s glamorous and affordable.
