I was born as Tiffany but now I'm Trinity and this is my story....

I grew up in a abusive home as a child. Christmas of 2008 I just turned 21 the month before. In that time i thought i my life of being abused was over. I just met a guy that i fell madly in love with.
He was 8 years older than i was, but age was only a number.....Anyways as time went on the more he started to drink, in the back of my head all I could do was hang on to hope this would just be a phae that would pass. I was badly mistaken. The man i have loved so much, the one who I thought would always protect me and never harm me... DID! For 7 years I stayed around thinking that he would change back to the man i fell in love with. Countless black eyes, busted lips, cracked noses, scalp busted open, held at gun point. the list can keep going. Never once did I call the police or press any charges on him because i still loved him with all my heart..........

By the time the year 2013 was here, I had become so depressed and scared to leave him. By this time everything became way worse instead of getting better.. Because of the depression I turned to drugs (pain pills) and just wanted to overdose for those last 3 years we were together. All because i thought in my head that would be my only way out and not be in pain anymore. I was convinced that my life didn't matter, that nobody cared about me including my own family. Now its 2016 and guess what, I got myself clean and off the drugs and look at me now. My main goal now is to help those other women that are still out there that are scared for their lives. If I can make it out anything is possible!
