Fashion and Casual. We're using a very nice park with permit. Lot's of shade & sun, plus covered areas. There's a Variety of Backdrops, including a Building. We have the picnic area, not shared. The surrounding area is very spacious, over 1 acre. Free snacks and beverages. Beginners to experienced. Models ages 15+. No nudity or lingerie, no alcohol. It's a Gathering for fun, pictures and networking. Please give models photos. Models may promote themselves. Pre-Registration. Exempt are parents and non-photographing spouses. Photographers only have 1 chance sometimes, per many of our models are getting signed quickly. Here's another model recently added. Second, if you are a first-time model, don't spend a lot of money on clothes you may wear only once. Check your closet then your sister's, mother's, or friend's closet. If nothing works, try thrift/resale shops. Third, these are MY CHOICES/IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS. Kohl's, Sears, Target, Pennys weekly newspaper ads are good places to look for ideas. The "Event Notes" (above) call for "Fashion and Casual". Fashion- think Sunday, Evening (date night), Party (Prom/Graduation/Wedding, not tailgate/BBQ). Little Black Dress, Summer Sun Dress, Nice Slacks and Blouse (Jacket??) AND HEELS, HEELS, HEELS. Platforms not required, but Pumps suggested. Casual- think upscale beach wear (swimsuit cover-up), CRUISE wear, nice shorts or nice (no holes or stone-washed) jeans with blouse/sweater, halter-top, tank top, crop-top. And HEELS-pumps, HEELS-boots/mock boots, HEELS-sandals, cute flats, sandals or light-weight canvas shoes (deck shoes or Keds). No cross-trainers, running shoes, or flip-flops. Slacks and jeans should be short enough to show-off the shoes, and never long enough to walk on the bottom of the pant-legs with or without shoes. Makeup- enhance eyes and lips. But don't try to use heavy makeup to cover imperfections... it is easier for us photogs to photoshop imperfections then to reduce excessive makeup. Lastly, above all, plan to have fun! No Triple Crown winner as 'Another was injured. Many times in the past, my top pick for the Derby lost, but came back and won this race. My picks today are Dullahan, Paynter, then Union Rags. 'Rags has the best record, but it may not be his best distance. But, he may soften up Paynter just enough, so someone else jumps up. Small bets as the injury was a bummer. Spain received monetary help, which strenghened the euro. Oil also remains low, which could help travel/leisure sectors like gaming, airlines. If there's a rally, I'm not sure how long it will last. Hope everyone made Money in stocks. Another rally covering the past 2wks, UP about 700pts in Dow. Take profits. Not sure if it can hold this level. Ross hit another all-time high. Up about 50pts pre-split. No one will blame you for taking some profits. Sell on rises, buy on pull backs. Lower Oil, watch related stocks, they already begun to run and could surge if lucky. But, I'm selling quickly per broad market is relatively high. No guarantees, good luck.
