About Me

Fashion Stylist

Thirty years of styling under my belt and also creative direction and fashion design, runway organisation etc. This one London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2018 for Fashion for Conservation , I designed the lining for the pant suit for Gabriela Rose, saw it through production, and styled the whole show with 20 designers and top models:

Welcome to my page. I am a Fashion stylist who has worked over the last ten years with personal clients, for magazine editorials and advertising, band videos, designers, photographers and models. I also have created two sell out fashion collections myself, and also work in creative direction for a growing London Fashion House

Top Fashion model Paul Pavlovska shot by Sheradon Dublin styled by me for Gabriela Rose London.

My main job however is as a Fine Artist specializing in equine subjects and retro fashion and pin-up, for which I also often use models.
I am also an occasional Burlesque promoter and am agent/manager for one of the UK's most prestigious performers Chrys Columbine. Here we style for photographer David Saville for Stevenson Brothers Rocking Horses and Cotswold Allure magazine.

I also have an excellent record in styling models for designers at prestigious sporting etc events in terms of press coverage in all media from tv to national daily newspapers and magazines. Eg The Daily Telegraph Chrys Columbine for Gabriela Rose

Some recent editorials I worked on as stylist (credited) :

This was a shoot I styled with Ceri Cushen of Robert Masciave for Sheradon Dublin published in Retox magazine:

I have been a professional Fine Artist for 28 years, and also so some fashion design. I also do wardrobe styling for shoots; and have a few private clients whom I style. I also do a little photography. I occasionally book models for editorial shoots, my own artwork, and even burlesque shows which I promote from time to time. I have worked with a number of fashion photographers and publications in the last few years.

This was the design that won the Fashion Award at the Cheltenham festival 2011 modelled by Eliza C and subsequently influenced UK fashion collections:

My collection was about using natural materials such as tweed, leather and fur. I sourced these myself so saw how the activities of peoples in rural  communities such as the Hebrides, Patagonia, the Czech Republic and the Arctic producing such protects the environment. Having helped with recycling in the past; I have also seen the terrible legacy of wasteful use of synthetics which end up in landfills. Not to mention the general poor quality of drape and movement with such.  I wanted to make garments that were valued, empowering to women, long lasting in style and wear so become a permanent part of the ladies wardrobe; and eventually recyclable. Expensive to produce; especially working with a seamstress instead of mass production; but not overly expensive retail. Prices from £975 to £1450 for example for a couture jacket made to client's measurements with tweed and fur and/or highest quality velvet

The inspiration came from the 1940's, Edwardian and 1930's and other periods and themes; ranging from Sacher Masoch to the early pioneering aviatrix. Essentially it was about empowering women through femme fatale glamour; using sustainable high quality natural materials.

Nowadays I work for designers such as Gabriela Rose London and Ascendance Fashion and others as creative director on various projects from individual pieces (from fashion illustration to sourcing fabrics) to organising shoots and fashion shows.

Sometimes I need fitting models but at the moment won't be doing a new collection for a while.

Here are a few examples of my Art pieces:
This one I designed the Edwardian inspired riding jacket as well as doing the pin up watercolour:

I have had a fair bit of my photography published in The Racing Post; Horse and Hound; The Daily Sport; some Czech, French and Swiss publications; in various Lifestyle magazines editorial advertorial and advertisements for boutiques etc.

And one of my painted equine subjects:

My clients include many of the top owners trainers and jockeys in horse racing including champion trainer Paul Nicholls, Grand National winning jockey Mick Fitzgerald, and the Saudi Royal family. Corporate clients have included Vodafone, Pertemps, and Ryan Air. Along with my brother Adrian we have exhibited at various London galleries such as The Mall Gallery, Harrods and Dover and Cork st galleries as well as regularly exhibiting at Cheltenham racecourse. We have also exhibited widely in Europe such as at Deauville, Pardubice, St. Moritz, Longchamps, and Chantilly.

I don't often check into my Model Mayhem account - but you can always contact me at [email protected]

My images inside show a few of the photoshoots I have styled and shot; and some of the clothing I designed.
Then here are a couple where I have styled the shoot wardrobe wise with model Eliza C in this case for Sheradon Dublin:
