October 18, 2007 9:08am This is a strong, beautiful, sensual shot. I love her attitude. The rippled reflection and the pitch-black background adds a dramatic dimension. Her eyes are very powerful here. I like the styling a lot. I also like the activity in the pose. She's lifting her arm out of the water, rather than just standing there. Turning her body so that she's not square to the camera is also a great choice. The water is a sensual element, and showing it so close to her crotch intensifies the eroticism of the photo. The pearls are a nice feminine touch, and suggest that she's classy, not trashy. I'm not so sure what to make of the black thing around her wrist. The exposure The one thing that I think would make this photo stronger, is framing. I think there's too much black above her head -- she's too centered in the frame. I would crop this (or frame when I'm shooting) so that there's a lot less black above her head (placing her higher in the frame), and so that the center line of the photo passes just to the right of her nose.
