March 29, 2020 12:49pm This is such a good photo because of so many contrasts. Of course, first of all, the ballet style pose in a urban setting. Then the static of the framing and a quite unusual pose that really brings the photo a bit off-balance, in a way that really adds to the photo. The semi-circle in the tag behind the model offsets this really well.
And the expression of the model is so well done, as it intentionally is not attracting the attention - and I love a good expression, but here it is better this way, as you let the flow of her pose be the narrative.
