About Me

I have been involved in face and body painting for over ten years. With a B.A. in Theater Performance from the University of South Florida, I first ventured into the model and performance side of body painting. I understand the transformative and bold desire needed to create original and memorable designs for my clients. My focus in body painting is mainly character based, and I use body painting to create fantastical characters that previously only lived in one's imagination.
I lived on the East coast and Los Angeles where I acquired a taste for the urban, surrealistic and abstract fantasy characters I paint. I was lucky enough to gain performance experience in "The Dream Theater" in Los Angeles known for its cutting edge theater combined with costume and body makeup.
For the last 9 years, I have been living in Maui, Hawaii surrounded by the vibrant and incredibly diverse nature landscapes as well as the Polynesian tattoo traditions which have uniquely influenced her face and body painting. In Maui I started "Fabulous Faces" a face and body art business which uses the highest quality body paints and henna to transform children and adults for parties, theater shows, art openings, workshops, corporate events, magazine advertising, fashion shows, and the yearly "Mardi Gras of the Pacific" Halloween parade.

My style consists of detailed hand painted and sponge –blended work.

My focus in Hawaii lately has been working with local theater and fire troupes to produce Hawaiian mythological and magical visual delights for the eye utilizing black light in order to create black light body painted theater shows to promote and educate people about the ancient culture here.
Model Mayhem is a wonderful opportunity for me to reach out to everyone in the performance/modeling and visual art side of the body painting business in order to bring the two fields together in a hybrid blend of body painting, theater, story line, and visual alchemy.
My goal is to create next level theater productions using body painting, black light, and amazing costumery to elevate our fellow humans.
