Stuff you should know about me:

>>  I am primarily interested in: commercial fashion, fashion editorial and related sessions. If you have a serious interest in this sort of work, I would be interested in talking about ideas.

>>  I am an active member of the Professional Photographers' Society of New York State and Greater Rochester Professional Photographers. I am also a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and the Western New York chapter.

>>  My studio is in idyllic western New York State.  I will shoot on location anywhere the work calls me.  Generally, however, I work & shoot in this region: Map.  I tend to focus my MM contacts to the area shown on the map. However, if I have worked with you in another city/country or if I expect to travel to your area, then I'd very much like to stay in touch with you here on MM.

>>  Compensation. If I am paid, everyone who works with me on the session will be paid, too.

>>  If there are shared expenses associated with our session, I will let you know what your share will be in advance.  If you are not comfortable with the costs, you will have the option to bow out gracefully and our professional relationship will not suffer.

>>  I'd like to work with men and women of all types, backgrounds, personalities & ages (so long as you are over 18 - except in very limited circumstances).

>>  I have a lot of ideas but I really love creative conversations/collaborations. I will highly value your creative input.

>>  I'm married & have two children (boys) aged 17 & 14.

>>  I'm not comfortable shooting nudes.

>>  For TF sessions...  A copy of my model release is available in advance by request. In short, I retain copyright and everyone else gets a pretty liberal usage agreement of branded images. I do not distribute unedited images. I will cull and edit our session images and post drafts for review and comment. After you've had a chance to see some options I'll complete the editing and distribute final versions.

>>  It's very rare for me to post casting calls. I prefer to call on my partners as individuals after considering past work, background, interests and usually physical characteristics. See below...

>>  For those models who may be uncomfortable posting information about physical attributes I understand and appreciate your reluctance. However, you should know as a commercial fashion photographer I am constantly searching the MM database, looking for the right (physical) look & fit for my sessions. If you don't post your height, hair color, sizes, etc. you are making it very hard for me to find you.

>>  I commonly ask models I haven't worked with to come to my studio for test shots before we work on a session together.

>>  Model, stylist, retailer, designer, publisher references are available by request.
