About Me

Hi there! I'm Sara, 18 years old and from no-where-land northern Alberta. Currently attending school for photography in Vancouver, I joined here to connect and work with people, help each other build our portfolios and just do what I love! I adore shooting on location with interesting backgrounds and tend to balk when faced with a studio setting, with the exception of plain white or brightly coloured backgrounds.

I'm incredibly friendly and modest, and I consider taking photos less of a job and more of a chance to have fun and create beautiful images.

I specialize in editorial / street / environmental portraits and fashion as well as creatives. The styles I dabble in range from urban fashion to dreamlike, magical lifestyle and environmental photos. Let me know if you'd like to work together!! Feel free to contact me at [email protected] or here. I'm more comfortable executing my own concepts so if you'd like photos done just hit me up and I'll do the rest! I will also consider your ideas or requests, of course!

I'm more than happy to make prints for you in return for working with me~

Thank you for looking!

Hi,

I've been thinking of starting a photographers meet-up to help one another master photography. We'll gather a group online and then meet to discuss specific problems, challenges, critiques, and desired techniques we want to achieve. We can also network to pool equipment, props, etc and discuss projects if we find the appropriate partnership.

The goal here is to gather men and women who are keen on becoming not only better, but the best! I called around recently offering assistance for guidance and was met with closed minds and fear of competition - in reality I wonder which Vancouver photographer truly believes him/herself to a Herb Ritts or Richard Avedon to not warrant help or collaboration.

I hope you are progressive with your craft and I welcome you to take part in getting a fine arts/fashion photography group together. One which is free and extensive and helpful and we can incorporate shoots as well. Let me know if you're interested so I can gather everyone and be it three or fifty of us, we can still learn something from one another. And remember we can learn a lot faster in a group setting than alone. In the time we read one page on one issue, you we could have already got five answers on five subjects.

Please reply in the casting call on my page or pm me if you're still in a conservative shy shell. ;P ;)

Thanks,
Xan
