In taking a look around the MM universe, I'm seeing a lot of photographers boasting about their creative talents while condescending on folks who choose to explore creatively, trade their time for prints or negotiate other compensation.

I have seen models and photographers alike set exorbitant rates and outrageous demands; and this is before the press of a button.

Now, this is supposed to be the part where I "sell" myself and say why I am better than that guy with the $20,000 camera body and a light set that can light up a former eastern European Soviet block nation.

I guess I'm supposed to argue over why film is better than digital or vice versa...

How about debating an Arbus versus a Lachappelle?

Nah, that's not for me.

Let's not forget that we all had to start somewhere.
