Originally from Canada now living in NYC, Steven Van Nguyen first rose to fame after winning the coveted first prize title in the men ages 18-22 category at the International Modeling and Talent Association competition in New York City, the same competition which launched the careers of Ashton Kutcher, Josh Duhamel, Katie Holmes and many other household names. Nguyen is incredibly passionate about his work as both an actor and a model because it has given him the opportunity to defy the stereotypes that exist about the Asian population.

His extensive resume includes acting in the films such as Project Gelb, The White Samurai, and the multi-award nominated comedy show The Amazing Gayl Pile. Along with his film and television roles, he has also done multiple commercials, such as his appearance in the commercial for Tim Horton's, a café and donut shop nationally known throughout Canada.
