About Me

PLEASE SEE MY FIRST MM PORTRAITURE SITE FOR ADDITIONAL WORK:  http://www.modelmayhem.com/750

After my degree in Architecture from Penn State in 1966, I served in Togo, Africa with the Peace Corps and then returned nine years later to work as a Senior Architect directly for the Nigerian Government in Lagos designing site plans for government staff housing.  I spent twenty-five years practicing as a registered architect in four states back in the U.S., then switching to professional photography in 1990 during the recession, for fifteen years.  I began with fine large 4x5 format architectural photography with a Sinar initially in combining both fields, but the architectural market was obviously weak and I gradually specialized in portraiture, my love since 1968.  I did brochures, product photography, and then primarily fine weddings, anniversaries, families, seniors, executive and child photography.  I am essentially retired now at age 75, but found that providing environmental portraiture in the verdant Pennsylvania Brandywine Valley of the Chadds Ford countryside and at Longwood Gardens ( http://www.longwoodgardens.org/ ) proved so beautiful and complemented the studio work of so many aspiring models.  It has always been my greatest pleasure to preserve these special moments for so many families...where portraits remain on their walls and mantels so many years later.
