About Kim Weston

I have been a black and white fine art nude photographer for over 40 years specializing in large format photography. I prefer to work with models who wear minimal makeup and do not have large tattoos.

My main body of work consists of silver gelatin contact prints made from 8x10 negatives (large format); but, I now work with a Mamiya RB67 or a Pentax 67.

Wildcat Studio Nude Workshops

For the past 17 years, my wife and I have shared a passionate, artistic, and unique photographic vision with a select group of participants at several workshops every year. Weston Workshops are held on Wildcat Hill, Edward Weston's former home in Carmel Highlands, CA, 100 miles south of San Francisco. Each workshop combines practical, hands-on instruction with informal lectures that immerse participants in the history of the Weston family's contributions to fine art photography.

Our fine art nude photography workshops have phenomenal shoot locations with plenty of time and privacy to work with experienced models! The models we work with most are Nymph, Jennifer Jones, St Merrique, Larva, Mona, Sekaa, and Sara Streeter.

Weston Destination Workshops

We traveled the world for years teaching fine art nude photography workshops and continuing the Weston family's rich photographic legacy. Weston Destination Workshops have traveled to Germany, Scotland, Finland, Mexico, France, and Spain where participants have had opportunities to photograph in some of the world's most beautiful locations.

Would you like to work with Kim Weston or pose at a Weston Workshop?

If you are a model who would like to discuss the possibility of working with us, we are eager to meet you! Weston Photography needs models who have some experience working one on one or with a group of photographers. Because Kim's work features a wide array of dramatic elements, having a background in theater or dance is a huge bonus.
