DANCE, SPORTS, and MARTIAL ARTS SPECIALIST

I am a dancer (Salsa, Bachata, and Argentine Tango) and I understand extremely well how to shoot dance (the counts, the hand switches, the turns, the dips etc...) and how to anticipate your best shots.

Contact me when need a great dance shot for your portfolio. I have access to a couple of nightclubs in San Jose and Sacramento, with full control over the nightclub lighting, to provide the right ambiance. I doubt there are many other photographers who are club lighting technicians.

I also love shooting headshots. That's one of my favorite things to do.

Artist's Statement

I am not an artist. There are many awesome artists on MM that leave me speechless.

I see interesting images and try to transfer them from the real world to my computer by means of my camera as accurately to my vision as possible.

I am here to help all of us get paid by clients one way or another.

I take care of my team on TF* shoots and provide you with specialty images that you need with specific lighting. I would setup additional beauty lighting, for example.

Specialties besides dance

When it comes to models, I am enjoying runway fashion quite a bit. I even developed some technology for this.

Beyond that, I am interested in commercial fashion, lifestyle, environmental portraiture, headshots (yep, I actually like taking them), and beauty.

I am interested in shooting other interesting ideas as well.

Policies

I specifically permit you to have your images retouched by someone else subject to my prior approval of their portfolio.

It is mandatory to execute all paperwork before work starts.

I happily work with minors, but I will need to meet your parents to have my paperwork signed.

I require a phone conversation to confirm a shoot. Rest assured, I don't have time for social calls. Please have a working cell phone so we can find each other quickly.

Typical results from a TF* shoot

You will receive a few high resolution images as well as web resolution images via a password-protected download. I may even offer to do a quick export at the end of the shoot.

Photo enhancement is a time-consuming process. It may take some time to retouch your images and I am not a photoshop wizard. I make unretouched images available very quickly. I take great care to get my images done right in-camera.

Commercial work

I keep things simple. If I am not particularly interested in shooting you as a model for fun, I will offer to charge you my normal fees.

My base creative rate is $120/hr with a 1hr minimum. Travel rate is equal to creative rate. Let's spend time shooting instead of driving.

I license my images based on usage.
