About Me

Sarah Azzouzi is a Chicago based Milliner, and graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. While in school she participated in a number of gallery shows including those in FLATfile Galleries, and the Tom Robinson Gallery. She has also participated in a number of fashion shows such as Fluerotica at the Garfield Park conservatory and SAIC's The Walk. She was a winner of both Raymond Hudd Millinery Award for Best hat (2009) and the Dean's Hat Award (2010).

Her company, Zzouzi Hats began upon her graduation of the School, in 2010. Since then she has had her hats featured in local boutiques such as Local Lookbook and available online through special order. Zzouzi Hats uses experimental techniques in combination with classic Millinery techniques. The use of alternative material, and found objects give "Hats" a new meaning.

I've recently been interviewed for a few magazines I hope to be able to get some promotional prints for a few of my new pieces.
