About Me

Thank you for reading my profile! I'm centrally located in the City by the Bay. I work ethically and shoot tastefully. I love classic elegance.

If I message you about a possible photo shoot, it generally means I'm offering a trade shoot. Truth be told, I don't give a damn about the money; I'm here because I love the creative, collaborative process of model photography.

I've listed some genres off to the left here, but I'm fuzzy on them and wouldn't know which pigeon hole to put most of my photos in. Except headshots. And, I groan when a model asks me what the shoot "concept" is. I'm the poster boy for low concept photography. My work is uncluttered for the most part -- just the model, looking as good as she ever will, and a simple backdrop. It's worked for me through something like 1,500 photo shoots with more than a thousand different models.

I'm a polite and kindly sort, but there are a few things that curdle my brain:

(1) I do not like flakes, with the occasional exception of cornflakes. Don't schedule with me if you're not going to honor the appointment. I will be very angry and possibly strafe your home with an F-16 Tomcat if you do. It is possible to reach my door without your car breaking down, your boyfriend being handcuffed by police, or your grandmother collapsing into a bowl of porridge. I don't flake; neither should you.

(2) I also have a profound distaste for models who suffer from extreme, hyperactive attacks of chronic, inflammatory prima donna syndrome. Life is too short, and there is no vaccine.

(3) No escorts. This is a new rule. It's not because I've suddenly developed a late-in-life compulsion to molest models. It's because on two occasions -- twice! -- model escorts have helped themselves to money, first, and then a credit card belonging to me, while I was focusing on photography. Enough. It's OK if someone delivers the model, takes a quick look at me and the surroundings, and then scrams.

Sound reasonable? Let's shoot. Email is [email protected]

One final note. I've worked with so many models over the years that suffering a few bad apples, among all the good experiences, is inevitable. i welcome inquiries about the model Arielita, MM #1560342.
