Mission
I am looking for creative and artistic women who want to make fine art and erotic nude photographs on a Trade for Pictures or Trade for Content basis. I'm not only interested in working with models per se. If you're a photographer/artist and you want to work from in front of the camera to express yourself, I'm very interested in collaborating with you.
Trade
Prints, Retouched files, content, lodging, instruction, and any combination of these are a form of payment. It's called Barter or Payment in Kind.
What we each get
What I get:
A photo session of a previously agreed upon length and content with you, and a standard commercial model release. If you will not sign a standard commercial release I will not work with you.
What You get:
To expedite receipt of your side of the bargain, I will e-mail digital contact sheets to you within 48 hours. You choose 25 images of which you will get, on CD or via FTP, 20 retouched web files with watermark, 5 publication quality files without watermark and via US mail, three 12X9 inch prints. Prints are printed with archival inks on Fiber Base paper with a Giclee printer. Turn around time for this is Two weeks.
I normally send you everything I process at 900 pixels anyway, but it can take months :-). Any time you want a high rez version just ask me.
I always allow you commercial use of the images we create together; however, I do not allow anyone else to reference for other media, retouch or manipulate my photographs in any fashion without my written permission unless we have a shared copyright agreement. If the trade terms are for Content then I share copyright with you for those photographs, and I will give you either retouched photos or RAW files from that portion of the shoot. Whichever you prefer. If the photos are not processed my me, I am not to be credited for them as they will not really be my work anymore.
How I like to work
I want to make, intimate, personal, emotional photographs that we both can be proud of, that move us, that are a product of our shared effort. There are no limits to content. All I ask of you is that you have an open mind and an open heart. Nothing that has not been discussed and agreed on beforehand will be brought up during a session by me without asking your permission first. Nothing that you bring up will be forbidden.
I am not particularly interested in one time shoots. I am looking for muses that I can develop an ongoing artistic relationship with. This means a high level of communication. If this is a problem, then I am not the photographer for you.
If you want to work with me, Tell me why. I want to collaborate with women who also have their own ideas that they want to express their ideas and their emotions through this process. I'm not interested in a mere subject who only brings a physical presence to the table. I am only interested in shooting with those who have actually looked at the full range of my work, and are excited to collaborate with me.
If we've never worked together before:
If we converse via e-mail to start I prefer to use regular e-mail, MM is too prone to collapse. Once we have decided we really want to work together, there has to be at least one telephone conversation to firm up details. If you are local, I prefer an in-person meet.
A note for out of town Models
Please contact me at least 6 to 8 weeks ahead of time, I need time to trade ideas with you, get acquainted and decide what I want to do with you. Also, I only shoot on the weekends with VERY rare exceptions.
Restrictions
I shoot nudes or beauty of women only. I might be induced to shoot headshots of men but that's all, and only for my standard fee.
I rarely photograph women with surgically altered anatomy. I don't like breast implants. I do make exceptions, but very very rarely, and only in the case of someone whose presence is so electrifying that I find them irresistible. I'm only interested in natural beauty.
I don't have a problem with tattoos. I like them if they are visually interesting and not Ugly. I love them if they are abstract enhancements of the woman's curves. If they are frightfully ugly, I won't shoot with you.
Rights
I reserve all rights and require a full commercial model release.
I'm willing to share rights if the shoot has been a true collaboration. Some of the women I shoot with I consider full partners in what we create together.
Post Production
You may not perform, nor may anybody else perform, any manipulations of any kind on my photos unless I have given you expressed permission in writing
A note on Escorts
No escorts inside the building. No exceptions, unless it's your dog :-)
